Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar)

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital. Airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel. Free time to rest and prepare for the Gobi Desert journey.

Day 2 – Drive to Baga Gazryn Chuluu

Drive south to Baga Gazryn Chuluu, a stunning granite rock formation rising from the semi-desert steppe. Explore ancient ruins, caves, and scenic viewpoints.
Overnight in a nearby ger camp.

Day 3 – Drive to Yolyn Am (Vulture Valley)

Continue driving to Yolyn Am Valley in Gurvansaikhan National Park. Enjoy a hike through the narrow canyon, known for its ice formations that can last throughout the summer.
Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 4 – Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes

Drive deeper into the Gobi Desert to reach the spectacular Khongor Sand Dunes, also called the “Singing Dunes.”
Climb the dunes for panoramic views, photograph sunset landscapes, and experience the vastness of the desert.
Overnight at a ger camp near the dunes.

Day 5 – Drive to Bayanzag (Flaming Cliffs)

Travel to Bayanzag, famously known as the Flaming Cliffs, where the first dinosaur eggs were discovered. Explore the red sandstone formations and enjoy a beautiful desert sunset.
Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 6 – Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa)

Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga, a dramatic escarpment shaped by wind and water, often called the “White Stupa.” Walk along the cliffs and enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 7 – Return to Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar, passing wide steppe landscapes. Arrival in the city in the evening.
